| It has been more than half a century since Chinese landscape painting, conscientiously and spontaneously, took reference from sketching in its artistic creation. The worrying about the loss of national spirit and aesthetic appreciation in the process of taking reference from sketching existed from the very beginning. Nowadays, the creation of Chinese painting has already become a tidal current. Meanwhile,different schools display a variety of artistic views, forming various drawing styles. With the rapid growth of economy and the upsurge of national and cultural spirit, a deep and thorough reflection has arisen in Chinese painting as well as the artistic field about the exploration of the pattern of Chinese landscape painting and the advantage and disadvantage in taking reference from sketching in Chinese landscape painting. At the present time, in artistic field, people tend to assume that the introduction of sketching skills into Chinese landscape painting has interfered with, spiritually and technically, this traditional painting, hindering the development and self-perfection of the Chinese landscape painting in its own system.Based on the above-mentioned facts, this paper lists the contacts and collisions between sketching and landscape painting in different periods of history by taking the method of contrastive analysis between the East and West, which is used as proof material to examine and determine the artistic phenomenon and the core connotation of Chinese painting at that time with regard to the aspects of cultural distance, connotation of appreciation and language scheme.The generality and spirit of sketching are interpreted in the cultural contexts to examine the connection point with Chinese painting; the development of social economy and culture is beneficial in realizing the aesthetic appreciation in taking reference from sketching in Chinese landscape painting; the likelihood of Chinese landscape painting coming into contact with sketching in artistic history; the cultural structure , historic responsibility and the growing mode of modern artists in western style are of great importance in the realization of taking reference from sketching in Chinese landscape painting, which can judge its feasibility and provide motivation for the development of national spirit. The feasibility of Chinese landscape painting coming into contact with sketching lies in the reference of sketching in the way of observation , overcoming the fetters and handcuffs in Chinese landscape painting; the idea of factual description in sketching is conducive to Chinese landscape painting; the tone of sketching is of great value to the structure and organization of Chinese landscape painting; the application of sketching factors is different from the traditional method used in Chinese painting, which will open up new visual style and extend the development of national spirit, and aesthetic appreciation.According to the above reasoning, we can be sure that it is feasible for Chinese landscape painting to take reference from sketching, the process of which has the precondition and the intrinsic value; at the same time, we must adhere to the nature of Chinese landscape painting on the basis of reference; the skills and viewpoints in the appreciation of Chinese landscape painting vary a lot in various historical periods, which makes the technical problem a historical necessity; the practice of Chinese landscape painting drawing sketch elements is of great value in artistic creation and communication of different thoughts. Needless to say, the development of Chinese landscape painting has already surpassed the interpretation in common sense, facing the philosophical and aesthetic consciousness; has gone beyond the spiritual needs of painting itself and become an era, a strong desire of development both internal and external of a nation, having practical and historic significance in cultural development and artistic realization. |
