Thinking About Three Ways Of Sing And Vocal Music Competition Classification Method

The paper states "Belcanto" is a disputed topic in western history. Its signified range and significance are much different in different ages, we should look at problems in the eye of development. "Chinese Folk Styled Singing", this formulation can easily cause "National Vocal Music" concept confusion, which blocks the development of national vocal music. While the comparability problem of "Original Ecology Music" is always the bone of contention in the field of music. Social value, together with, practical significance of its comeback is far beyond the competition itself. By researching the formation and development of Chinese popular music and the way for Chinese singers to be grown up, the conclusion that popular music is a special music category which is indeed different from other two kinds of music is drawn, besides that the development of Chinese popular music also accords with natural development. In the paper, the researcher presents own opinions about "Three Ways of Sing" classification method in vocal music competition, thinks that it hasn't met the demand of the time. On the other hand, three ways of sing are now drawing close and communicating each other gradually. Any singing method does not hold still, as other things, is changing and developing. "Three Ways of Sing", the sameness is more than the difference, its many advantages meet the development law of vocal music in vocal music competition which is divided by music theme, also match international practice.Through systematic study, term definitions of serious music, popular music and folk music, the paper points out that vocal music competition can be divided into three types according to theme:serious music, popular music and folk music. Only by applying reasonable vocal music competition classification method can our vocal music expand healthily, it opens a situation of "lets a hundred flowers blossom, lets a hundred schools contend" in the national music culture.
