Stimulated by Renaissance, the sing method of Bel conto is a school of singing which forms and develops from opera in Italy, and it has a complete set of scientific vocalism. Since being introduced in the early 20th century, it has great influence on teaching of national vocal music. The efforts of some foreign teachers and singers returning from abroad create a good beginning for professional teaching of vocal music. Nowadays, there are many contestants of our country who have won the prize in the international contests, which promotes the position of our country in the field of international vocal music to a large extent. This paper first analyzes and summarizes the difference between traditional national vocal music of our country and the sing method of Bel conto in cultural implication and singing skills by making a comparative study, then discusses how the teaching of national vocal music used the sing method of Bel conto for reference in terms of singing skills, teaching and research in the past decades. Finally, this paper analyses the basic method and pattern of teaching of national vocal music in modern time and some problems in teaching at present.In general, the introduction of the sing method of Bel conto changes the traditional conception of the teaching of vocal music from experience-based teaching to formal and systematic teaching under scientific guidance. Nowadays, the scope of the teaching of vocal music in our country becomes wider and wider, educationists of vocal music teaching should work hard to make the teaching of national vocal teaching more systematic, normative and scientific by using the art of Bel conto for reference in a more systematic way.
