An Additional Research On Zuchuwen

Zuchuwen, which are famous materials of the ancient Chinese characters carved or written on stone or jade, have been nearly studied for a thousand year, and abundant achievements have been made on them. But several problems inside Zucuwen should still be more carefully studied on.The first chapter, the main achievements in recent years are combed, and four issues are focused on. First, the genuineness or fake of Zuchuwen's and their versions; Second, three gods and their homes; Third, the study on sacrifice etiquette in Pre-Qin; Fourth, the relationship between Zuchuwen and Luxiangjueqinshu(吕相绝秦书).Several same and similar words and expressions in them only proves that Zuchuwen just has the characteristics of the times, but not to be a copy of the evidence.The second chapter, an brief introduction on the historical background of Zuchuwen. The historical facts in Zuchuwen are also able to find evidences in the seconded materials. In the Warring States Period, a competition between Qin and Chu have formed a trend north-south confrontation, and the land of Shangyu become the key to the success or failure. Qin due to occupy the land of Shangyu and'increased the opportunity of defeating Chu. Chu attempted to reverse the passive situation but lost the land of Hanzhong in the war of Danyang again. Chu got so anxious and attacked to Qin by the whole national strength, and marched to Lantian, a position nearby the capital of Qin. Qin was so panic that they had to prayed to God for the victory of defeating Chu.The third chapter, the aim of this part is to resolve other problems concerned Zuchuwen through explaining the words, ie. YouQin, ZhaoGaoBuJiao(邵馨布憿),and the distinction between Su(述)(Sui)(遂)and Qiui(逑).It focuses the research on the knotty words and gave special study and discussion, the some new ideas.The fourth chapter, a research on Xiongxiang who was cursed by Qin. This part proves that The genuineness of Zuchuwen is no problem at all. In ancient bamboo material, an ancestor of Chu whose named Xiongshuang was written as Xiongxiang, but he lived in the late Western Zhou, and there was still no struggle between Qin and Chu, so Xiongxiang is certainly not Xiongshuang. However the 18th generation favors King Huiwen after Mugong of Qin, that is King Huai of Chu, and the name of King Huai had been made a mistake during the process of spread.The fifth chapter, based on the analyzing of ZhuoZheShiZhangi(箸者石章),it can be conduct that three stones of Zuchuwen unearthed in the North Song Dynasty should not be their original ones.
