There is a tendency in the current translation field that translators pay more attention to the content transfer than the form transfer, which cannot make the original distinguishing feature in terms of forms represented in the translation. The distinguishing feature I mentioned above refers to the original defamiliarization devices. Therefore, Studying on how to represent the original defamiliarization devices can contribute much to reflecting the particularity of the literary translation.Scholars in translation fields at home and abroad have made some constructive studies on how to represent the original defamiliarization devices. However, there are few studies on the origin, the detailed features and the representation methods for it. Based on the former study achievements, the author selects many deviant defamiliarized forms from foreign famous literary works, and analyzes their features in the source text in phonological, lexical, rhetorical and grammatical categories, and manages to represent them in the target text. And with substantial examples selected and their several versions in the above four levels, detailed stylistic analyses are carried out to show that some translations fail to convey the original artistic values due to translators' negligence or insensitivity to the selection of words, rhetorical devices and sentence structures with stylistic values, and prove that stylistic analysis can enhance the translators' awareness of defamiliarization devices and improve their translations.Translation practice proves that "dynamic imitation" serves to be an effective and feasible method for representing defamiliarization devices. And translators should look at these phenomena historically, in which defamiliarization devices can not be represented temporarily or at all. Of course, there exist some shortages in this thesis, for example, these examples are not that extensive and typical, there haven't yet proper methods to deal with the phenomenon in which defamiliarization devices can not be represented temporarily or at all, etc. This paper is not meant to offer a through checklist for stylistic analysis but to help translators realize the values of defamilarization devices through the way to select the proper words, sentence structures, etc. and explore better and more methods to represent the original defamiliarization devices.
