Study On The Tombs Of Guangdong Area During Six Dynasties

In order to discuss the regional history of changes in the Lingnan region, this study focuses on the tombs of Guangdong area during the Six Dynasites. The dissertation is divided into five parts:Preface. Begins with an overview of the history of geographical concept in Guangdong, the Guangdong region roughly summed up from being a part of Baiyue Forces to the Southern Administrative Region of attribution and the county changes.The next part intuoduce the tombs discoveried in Guagndong area and archacological research.On the basis of it,the third part illustrates this study's implications and sesearch methods.Chapter 1-Tombs Typological Analysis.These tombs can be calssified into pit tombs,pit brick tombs and birck tombs.According to the number of coffin chambers,the brick tombs can be classified into two types:single coffin chamber tombs and multi-coffin chambers tombs.By the form of chambers,the single coffin chamber tombs can be calssified into six types.By the structure of coffin chamber,the multi-coffin chambers tombs can be classified into three types.The funeral objects can be divided into ceramic goods,metal goods,jad,wood and lacquer goods.Four-ear cans,bowls,dishes and chicker head pot are the typical ones.Then through the typology of major ceramics funeral goods, analyze the evolution and characterisitics.In the end,summarized the general characteristics and regional differences of the tombs of Six Dynasties in Guangdong area.Chapter 2-The periodization and cultural factors of the tombs in Guangdong area. The tombs of Six Dynasties were subdivided into four episodes by this article:the East Wu-early in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Song-Qi Dynasties, the Liang-Chen Dynasties. Then with the comparation of the surrounding areas, analyze the source of cultural factors of these tombs and found out that the characters of these Six Dynasties'tombs were affected by the tombs of the areas of the middle and lower Reaches of Yangtze River.Hubei an Hunan area had greater influence early and then instead by Jiangxi area.Chapter 3-Study of the formation of cultural characteristics. First summarized the cultural characteristics of tombs of Six Dynasties in Guangdong area. Through the interpretatian of epitaphs, It was the production of many related factors, such as the changs of the traffict paths to south of the Five Ridges, adminnistative region of the vesting and migration.Conculsion. Finally,there is a comprehensive summary on the above studies.
