Maritime civilization is an important part of the formation and development of Chinese civilization. However,in the study of China and the culture of the surrounding regions, the archaeological approach has often analyzed problems from a view centralized around the Central Plains.Research concerning maritime culture is mostly focused on the "Sea Silk Road",which consist mostly of scattered studies of the marine culture during the Chinese Qin and Han Dynasties.Starting with the region South of the Five Ridges area, this essay uses archaeological typology and cultural factor analysis methodology in an attempt to objectively explain marine cultural factors in the coastal areas of the south of China in order to argue for its due status in history, and discuss the cultural factors of the marine cultural factors of the Qin and Han Dynasties to the south of the Five Ridges area in China. The essay is divided into six parts. The introduction clarifies the concept of "maritime culture" and its development sequence. After that,it analyses the origin of the name "south of the Five Ridges" and analyzes historical documentation to point out that the geographical scope of "south of the Five Ridges"changed several times over the course of the Qin and Han Dynasties.Scholars point out that "when discussing the cultural phenomena of the South of the Five Ridges region in the Han Dynasty,modern-day northern Vietnam area should also be included in the scope of the discussion, because the view of the study should be under the framework of the historical geography of the Han Dynasty." Finally,on the basis of the review of the academic history, the significance of the topic, the space-time range and and the method of research are explained. The dissemination of marine cultural factors cannot be separated from the ship;similarly, ancient peoples shipbuilding and navigation technology directly determines their ability to utilize the ocean. The second part of the article discusses the embodiment of the elements and navigation traditions in south of the Five Ridges marine culture, starting with the archaeological materials related to shipbuilding and navigation.Through the arrangement of archaeological data such as the early canoe, the Dongshan Western Han painted building model, and the boating canister of the feathers,it is believed that the south of the Five Ridges area had become the marine center of the southern coastal areas of our country during the pre-Qin period, and that seacraft able to sail on the open ocean appeared in the area by the late Western Han Dynasty. At the same time, through the analysis of a large number of large South Vietnamese archaeological sites discovered in the vicinity of the site of the seal Creek in the Ouluo country of Ouluo in Vietnam, the article holds that boat-based transportation not only changed the social life of the residents of the region at that time, but also deeply influenced the textual production of the south of the Five Ridges region at that time in Guangzhou. The third part of the essay mainly studies the marine cultural factors in the gold and silver implements of South of the Five Ridges in Qin and Han Dynasties. The essay first collates the survey of the archaeological discoveries of the foreign gold and silver utensils during the Qin and Han Dynasties, and makes a comparative study of the style of the gold and silver utensils unearthed from the tomb of the South Yue and the Persian Empire. It is widely believed that the utensils of the South Vietnam tomb were most likely made in the resting Empire and then introduced into the south of the Five Ridges region of China. After that, the article makes a statistical analysis on the ornaments of millet gold beads in the Qin and Han Dynasties unearthed in south of the Five Ridges area, and compares the typical devices with the jewelry cellar of the Taxila site in Pakistan and the gold beads unearthed from the site of the Vietnam site of Russia. It is believed that the multiple gold beads unearthed from the deep nail ridge in the Guangxi Guigang,Guangxi, should be imported from India and other millet grains.Jin Zhu ornaments are most likely to come from the route of "India-South China Sea-Guigang-south of the Five Ridges".The fourth part of the article mainly studies the marine cultural factors in the glassware of South of the Five Ridges area in Qin and Han Dynasties.Firstly, according to the results of chemical composition analysis, the difference between the Chinese and western ancient glass system is analyzed. Then,Qin Han glassware unearthed in the archaeological materials in south of the Five Ridges area is statistically arranged.According to the function,it is divided into three categories:ornaments, daily necessities, and containers. Finally, the article analyses the sources of these glass products. It is believed that the potash glassware and sodium-calcium glassware found in the south of the Five Ridges region are from overseas, and their origin may be in Western Asia or ancient Rome,or perhaps the sea island region of Southeast Asia.Through comparative study of South of the Five Ridges and Thailand,Vietnam,Malaysia,Philippines,Indonesia and other Southeast Asian regions,it is believed that the glass products of Western or Southeast Asia during the Qin and Han Dynasties mainly spread to our country through two maritime routes, and one route along the coast of China and South Peninsula to our country.Guangxi and Guangdong came, and the other spread to Taiwan,China a long the lines of Indonesia and PhilippinesThe fifth part mainly focuses on the material of the Hu man the Han Dynasty in south of the Five Ridges, and studies the archeology of the ethnic and ethnic migration routes of the Hu people in south of the Five Ridges. In this part, the article makes a systematic analysis of the terracotta warriors unearthed in the Han Tombs in Guangzhou. It is divided into six categories:the terracotta warriors, the working warriors, the militant warriors, the lantern figures(the terracotta lantern),the terracotta warriors, and the terracotta warriors of young children. This part of the article uses the method of archaeological typology to divide it into three categories, which are A type(single hand supports the lamp disc),B type(hand and head both be used, with a further subdivision of Ba:hand holds the disc, and Bb:hand supports the disc),and C type(head supports the lamp disc). Finally, according to the archaeological data, the article discusses the ethnic origin, social functions and migration routes of the Hu people in south of the Five Ridges area of Qin and Han Dynasties. It is beli eved that the figures of Hu people in the Han Dynasty figurines unearthed in the Han Dynasty are mainly from India. They are very likely to reach the south of the Five Ridges area through the sea route of the South China Sea area, and their social roles may be from the South China Sea and the as slaves sold from Indian subcontinent. In the flow of their ethnic groups, they carry various materials, technologies, and related artistic cultural factors. These cultural factors have influenced various levels of the early social and cultural aspects of our country. The last part of the article is a general summary.Combining archaeological data and literature,it illustrates the profound influence of maritime civilization on south of the Five Ridges's social economy and culture.
