The Study On Wei Jin Demise And The Young Emperors

Many historians had paid their attention to the political struggle between Cao family and Sima family during the last years of Wei Dynasty. Based on previous researches, this paper focus on Three Young Emperors of Wei Dynasty. Though the researches on related issues and key persons, this paper analyzed Three Young Emperors' different attitude toward Sima family, explored the role of Three Young Emperors during the period of Wei Jin Demise. This paper intends to grasp Wei Jin Demise, which has significant meaning in the Ancient Chinese History, from a new perspective.After Gao Ping Ling Coup, Cao Fang who was dissatisfied with Cao Shuang, recognized Sima Yi's power. Sima Yi eliminated Wang Ling who wanted to fight against Sima family and repeal the emperor, protected the imperial power of Cao Fang objectively. The relationship between Cao Fang and Sima Yi was normal and harmonious, because their vital interests didn't conflict with each other. After Sima Shi replaced his father, he didn't return power to Cao Fang who had already had the ability to control power. Because of power, their relationship became bad rapidly. It led to the repeal of Cao Fang eventually.Empress Guo played a decisive role in the throne of Cao Mao. Though some cultural activities which Cao Mao taken part in, we can know that he was talented and he intended to revitalize Wei Dynasty. On the other hand, from these activities we can also know that Cao Mao was impulsive and lack of political experience, it determined his fate as a politician to a certain extent. Cao Mao who was out of power, attempted to attack Sima Zhao, but he was killed by his enemy at last. There is no doubt that Cao Mao's action and his dead obstacles Wei Jin Demise.After killed Cao Mao, Sima Zhao supported Cao Huang to be the new emperor. Cao Huang was a typical emperor of demise. Young emperors like Cao Huang became the necessary props in the past Dynasties'demise. The fundamental reason why young emperors became the necessary props in the demise was that they were easy to be controlled by usurpers. Cao Huang was inability to save dying Wei Dynasty. He became the last emperor of Wei Dynasty which was founded by Cao Cao. In 265, Jin Wu Emperor founded Jin Dynasty. Wei Jin Demise which was tortuous and beginning from the ages of Sima Yi came true eventually.
