Lu Xun has always been the focus of attention for his creative writing, literary arts and his substantial connection with modern Chinese society in books which are published on the history of Modern Chinese Literature in different periods.Lu Xun is one of few writers who are always playing a key role not only in the periods of the establishment of Modern Chinese Literature discipline but also in those periods when literatures stagnates and later revives. During those times, the interpretation of Lu Xun's image in different historical books published in different times works has also experienced complex and unique gradually changes.All study objects of this thesis are about Lu Xun's intellectual genealogy constructed from the teaching materials that are published officially in mainland China and representative. This thesis's subjects are to clarify characterization of times, state of society and context of culture between different explanation of words. Another subject is to uncover the covered power behind them, to explore the generation of the power in academic perspective and to expose the establishment of knowledge from the Pointcut of power.This thesis is consisted of the following three parts:1. The transformation of Lu Xun's intellectual genealogy. This part focuses on the investigation of the concrete phenomenon which are derived from the compilation in literature history because of the operation of discourse and power. It also studied the original construction of his intellectual genealogy in the history of Modern Chinese Literature before the founding of The People's Republic of China, when knowledge is free from power.What's more, this thesis illustrates the exemplification of the new interpretation of Lu Xun about Modern Chinese Literature turning the original one into the tools of ensuring the homogeneous elements and rejecting the heterogeneous ones by the will of power.2. The adjustment of Lu Xun's intellectual genealogy. After the reform and opening-up policy has been launched, the depressed strength of the depiction of literature-history weakened and the consciousness of politics gradually fade away. Editors of the history of Modern Chinese Lliterature are trying to dilute the depth of Lu Xun's image that is full of political taste, which is the evidence of reconstructing the ideology and expresses the scholars'demands of breaking away the control of discourse power and taking back the control of the composition literature history.3.The integration of Lu Xun's intellectual genealogy. This part delicates to the subjective appealing of restoring the image of Lu Xun which has been accordingly reconstructed and adjusted by the requirement of politics and begins to self-examine the relationship between the symbol which is set by government and the requirement of academic culture resource that causes homogeneous elements and the heterogeneous ones between compilatory politic and history of literature, which should be taken serious and careful consideration.
