Although Australia enhance the sense of independence and began alienated the United Kingdom after World Warâ… , But considering the East Asian region, apart from direct contacted with Japan that had risen already, Australia basically isolation from other regions or countries in East Asia.The second portion of article describes the changes of Australian policy toward East Asia during World Warâ…¡. Mainly reflected in the following aspects:First, the Australia-US alliance; Second, the wartime foreign policy that carried out by Australian Foreign Minister Evatt and the Labor government; Third, Australia established diplomatic relations with key countries in Asia-Pacific; Fourth, social and cultural changes in Australia.The third part analyze the cause of Australian policy toward East Asia changed during World Warâ…¡:Britain's decline;the rise of the United States; Australia had to face the threats realities of war and economic development needs.The fourth part analyze the influence on Australian politics toward Asian, Asia-Pacific situation and the balance of East-West power,that cause by the changes of Australian policy toward East Asia.
