| "Jishi"is frequently used in modern Chinese, especially in the written language. But there is nearly no systemically monographic study in this field. Mainly through description and comparison, semantic feature, semantic structure feature of"Jishi"and its expression in the aspects of discourse and pragmatics will be investigated in the paper, which can be helpful for deeper researching about its characteristics in actual use.The first part is introduction which introduces the meaning and content of this research, profile of related research about this issue and lastly, the methods and theories used and corpus resources.The first to forth chapter is the main content of this paper. They include the following aspects:The first chapter is semantic analysis about"Jishi"and its phrasing. Its positioning in syntax and different sentence mode will be observed as well. Based on its properties and basic semantic, it concludes two semantic feature of presenting concession and extremeness. And it also analyzes the semantic of three function words like"Ye","Hai"and"Dou"which is usually combined using with"Jishi". Furthermore, the relationship between"Jishi"and its outside semantic environment is discussed.On the base of discourse, the second chapter describes and concludes the linguistic units which are connected by"Jishi"and analyzes its position and influencing factor. Meanwhile, it investigates the functional difference caused by movement of"Jishi".On the base of discourse, the third chapter concludes the context of situation of"Jishi"appearing and its influencing factor. It also generalizes the way of cohesion, like co- occurrence with all kinds of correlatives.On the view of pragmatics, the forth chapter discusses the pragmatic feature of"Jishi"in discourse. It observes conjunction function in logical relationship, salient function of focalizing new information, expression of subjectivization and topic mark.The fifth chapter is the conclusion of the whole paper and listed some questions which need to be researched in the future. |
