The Image Of German Created By Chinese Writers During The War Against Japanese Aggression

The War against Japanese Aggression is of great significance to our country, and the war-resistance literature is the literature reflection on this special period of time. From the current status of general study, the study on war-resistance literature is relatively weak which deserves more depth and width. In recent decades, imagology of comparative literature has a powerful development; in particular,"the image of China in the West"is the subject of feverish speculation within the literature circle of both home and abroad. However, compared with the feverish study on"the image of China in the West", the study on"the image of the West in China"is deserted. From the angle of methodology, these two have something in common.Germany is an important country in the world which has a long history with our country. Especially during the War against Japanese Aggression, the creation of German image due to the change of Sino-Germany relationship is worthy of attention and consideration. Based on the theory of"the stones from other hills can be used to polish the jade of this hill", the image of German created by the Chinese writers can be used to reflect the image of Chinese people during the war against Japanese aggression. Through this kind of mutual reflection, we can get to know ourselves more fully.The field of research in this paper analyzed the image of German people created by Chinese writers during the war against Japanese aggression among the images of western people in war-resistance literature and Chinese literature, based on the major theory of imagology of comparative literature, from such major aspects as collective imagination of society, ideology, Utopia and aesthetic, and analyzed the reasons for the formation of such images based on the work of Chinese writers during this period of time and from such aspects as society, history, politics and culture. There was a lack of literature aesthetics during this period of time, we should improve on this. In general, the image of German people during this period of time is a complex which is built on the tension of the collective imagination of society of ideology and Utopia.
