Language intuition, a combination of learner's knowledge, intuition and feelings, is the dynamic abilities of language use. It includes phonetic intuition, semantic intuition, and grammatical intuition. As a major way for human beings to master a language, language intuition is directly related to a person's language learning results and achievements. As is well known to all, language acquisition is closely related to the environment in which the learner live, so an appropriate language environment will cultivate and foster a learner's language intuition and almost simultaneously can improve the learner's language perception unconsciously. Studies of cognitive psychology have shown that implicit learning refers to the process in which an individual unconsciously acquires the complicated knowledge through environmental stimuli. Therefore implicit learning theories, when they are introduced to guide language learning, will benefit the English language learners in almost every aspect of their learning process.Inspired and guided by the implicit learning theories and based on the relative teaching experiments and questionnaires designed and conducted by the author, this paper analyzes the nature and characteristics of language intuition. However, for there are some limitations of the experiments. this empirical study only focuses on student's semantic and grammatical intuitions. The results of the questionnaires show that "learning environment" is an essential factor which affects students' language intuition, and a great quantity of language input and language output can help create this useful and effective learning environment. And what is illustrated in the analyses of the questionnaires is that there is limited language input and output in the process of college English learning. Thus, the author conducted this empirical study for a semester and attempted to apply the strategies of language input and output, such as reading, recitation and imitation to the promotion of the student's language intuition.Based on the results of this empirical experiment, this paper puts forward the point that sufficient amount of language input can promote the students' comprehensive linguistic competence and the means by which how language is output plays a vital part in the process of enhancing second language intuition.
