With the strategic opportunity of economic development mode transferring from Made in China to China Create, the domestic design industry is expanding and the art design education in China is facing a brilliant development opportunity. However, there is somewhat a discrepancy between the training of high school design talents and the market need. While the scale is expanding, design education is shouldering more responsibility for the training of talents the society demands. It has become a real and pressing task of modern education as how to consummate the subject construction of art design and to forge a multifunctional talents training mode that could satisfy the demands of the society at the employment jam and the unbalanced distribution of industry chain.It is a significant passe of connecting the talents and the market design education to attach importance to practice teaching of art design. At present, all relative colleges are beginning to lay stress on the exploration of practice teaching of art design and, from their respective background, searching for feasible way of practice teaching of art design. However, the theoretical research of practical teaching system is still lagging far behind the development of the practice teaching. The academic thought, implementation measure, evaluation standard and assessment measure of the practice teaching system is still in their fumbling situation. This situation not only hampering the development of practice teaching to academy of art design and the overall growth of art design education but also clamping down on the high quality training of art design talents.This thesis, starting from the subject feature of high school art design, highlights the different understandings of the present design circle over the connotation and hierarchy of practice teaching and, from the theoretical angle, constructs the art practice teaching mode of the idealized state and makes a preliminary analysis over the evaluation system of practice teaching and assessment standard.
