The observation on natural concept in King Lear has always been the focus of the William Shakespeare study. And the Shakespeare study under the vision of ecocriticism provides academic approach for the re-reorganization of the natural and belief relationships between King Lear and that period background. On impel of ecocriticism theory, this paper tries to observe the relationships between humans, God and the nature in King Lear and this is a new dimension of Shakespeare's tragedy thought. This thesis aims to explain that King Lear is certain kind of nature writing in Renaissance, due to the breakdown of the relationship between human, God and nature, a special negative poetic context is induced amongst the mutual conflict of the three, and further develops into a negative poetic structure with the rebellion of the natural world, the chaos of the human society and the failure of the power of belief in the wake. So, the result causes loss of the human subjectivity, disintegration of hypostatization, life forms' variation and the whole world in nihility. A kind of aesthetic form representation in lesion's world develops with value digestion in King Lear. The thesis's exordium is divided into two parts:the first part, it briefly sorts out the previous research of the play and leads to the argument of this thesis; the second part, it expands the argument foundation, critical paradigm and innovation value. The main text is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is about anew carding on three natural relationships in King Lear:The justice nature symbolizing the will of Gods; the law nature symbolizing the law of the God; the mechanical nature symbolizing the instrumental rationality. Thus, the conflicts between these natures and the following "the bubble-buster of love anticipation" and "the unleashing of hatred tension" were depicted well. Further analysis approaches the "natural esthetic ecology" and "spiritual esthetic ecology" at the backdrop of the aforementioned pessimistic poetry situation. Chapter two unfolds with the observation of the images. Specifically, it consists of two segments which are "the apperception of humans, beats, and demons" and "the homogeneous of insanity, stupidity, and blindness". The emphasis is put on the revelation of the heteromorphy forms of the crime-corrupted humans:beasts and demons. And the holy site which is bestowed by faith is disintegrated. The oppression from the authority turned the wilderness into a temporary jail segregating the loons, the blind and the insane. The latter set up a "court" to trial the authority. Consequently, a highly-tensioned pessimistic esthetic experience is induced. Chapter three exams the esthetic effect induced by the various morbid phenomenon comprehensively. And it distinguishes King Leer as "the art of alloplasmic life" from an inner view. At the same time, in a suffusion of the doomsday complex, the tragic esthetics of the living is generalized as the negative beauty. The conclusion assesses the value of the negative beauty implied in King Leer, and points out that ecocriticism provides a new perspective in reviewing the thought of Shakespeare.
