| There're many articles wrote by fathers to teach their sons appeared during Wei Jin and they include many areas such as studying and holding a family. This paper is trying to point the reason why it poured into the time and what did it teach, how did it teach and its influence.Chapter One tried to find the reason why these articles were wrote from the following angles:the political background, the development of big families with culture and knowledge, the social status of the authors and their thought.Chapter Two focus on the meanings of these articles. We found that fathers hoped theirs sons to be polite, knowledgeable. What's more, in order to conduct himself in the society, he should keep silent in most time, and be cautious on every moment. Of course we inferred a unique one, Tao Yuanming.Chapter Three talked about the art of these articles while Chapter Four discussed its influence.
