Analysis On Shanghai Lyrics Of Kangxi Period

The thesis study on'Lyrics of Qing Dynasty' and its supplements, shows the features and characteristics on Shanghai lyrics of Kangxi period in several aspects.In the introduction,the thesis gives a brief generalization of Shanghai poets and its lyrics.Nowadays,there're still less materials about them. But it still defines the time and geographical scope,followed a brief introduction.The first chapter is'the regional consciousness of Shanghai poets',introduces the poets'description of their homes.They describe'Water Town in Southern Yangtze River',reflects feature of beauty,their works embody Jiangnan's development by describing rich life,they said wishes of hermit,told readers that their home is a Penglai Village.Chapter two focus works on descriptive,boudoir and farewell lyrics.On descriptive lyrics,Shanghai poets try to explore uncommon chanting objects.They intend to use exquisite images,and expressed euphemistic feelings. And their boudoir lyrics explore subjects of'boudoir in autumn',create windy artistic conception.They also express poets' unhappiness.Besides, farewell lyrics emphasize on console,and multiple contrast in time structure.In the third chapter,the thesis concentrates on Shanghai poets making friends with Yunjian school,Zhexi school, Yangxian school and Guangling school.Influenced by these factions,their lyrics also made changes.In addition,the thesis also introduces some outstanding Shanghai poets.Gao Buqian is good at creating windy artistic conception,Jiao Yuanxi tends to write lyrics as a game,and he also imitates lyric colour of Wen Tingyun.Furthermore,Qian Fangbiao's lyrics have bold and unconstrained colour.They embody his rich imagination.
