This article starts from the study of "X Dian" words'distribution and their development path in modem Chinese to reveal their generation characteristics, the nature features, grammatical functions and causes, etc. Besides, we can also see the semantic changes of the word "Dian".The first chapter briefly introduces object of the study, research ideas, research methods, innovations, origin of the language materials and theories'construction as well as some other issues in this article.The second chapter starts from the formation context, distribution, common new examples and other aspects of "X Dian" words in modern Chinese, generalizes some key features of the words, in order to profile the overview of the modern Chinese "X Dian" words.The third chapter mainly studies on the "X" in the "X Dian" words, respectively starts from the syllable, lexical, semantic this three different perspectives and the "X Dian" words'syntax components and grammatical functions in the sentences, to probe some related features of the word "X".The fourth chapter mainly studies on the word "Dian" in the "X Dian" words, firstly lists almost all meanings of "Dian" and generalizes its usages; then analyzes its grammaticalization degree, considers "Dian" as quasi-suffix, and points out its important and indispensable status in the process of constructing words from its categorized roles, the influences on significance of stem and semantic functions; finally summarizes the constitution features of "X Dian" words, and uses some relevant cognitive linguistics theories to analyze the words.The fifth chapter integrates the development trend of language itself, social, economic and other relevant factors to investigate the formation causes of "X Dian" words from inside and outside aspects respectively. Finally is the conclusion, summarizes the main points raised earlier in the article.
