The Uighur History At The Beginning Of Searches

During the past hundred years, the scholars had achieved great success in the study of Uighur literature, which was unearthed and translated into Chinese. Especially the modern scholars'translation and reorganization of the literature and works which were left by Uighur scholars, who records the history, the economy, and the culture, have built the solid foundation for us to study the national historical records, the historians, the development condition of the history, and this nationality's historical thoughts and historical viewpoints.Based on combing the Uighur literature comprehensively, this article is showing the vein and the characteristic of the development of Uighur history from the Outer Mongolia Uighur Khanate time to the Mongolian Yuan empire time, through the contrast research between the Chinese written language historical data and the Uighur inscribed text historical data, in particular the research of the method of narrating and the recording years, the Uighur historian, historical work, the value of the history and so on. The research indicated that the Uighur history has been separated from the myth fable time, the unique narrative style and the method of recording appeared, and the relatively mature history thought and the independent national history viewpoint has been formed during the Outer Mongolia Uighur khanate time.This article is introducing the outstanding historical work of Karahan dynasty in detail, such as "the Kashi Gar History", "Lucky Happy Wisdom", "Diwanu Lu(?)atit Turk", "Truth Crosses the threshold". The multicultural fusion has profoundly affected the historians, their thoughts, the historical work and its compilation, the history and its development direction of Karahan dynasty. But in Uighur khanate time in which the Buddhism culture has a tremendous impact, massive historical works in the language of Uighur race appeared, along with the production of the character of the race--ancient Uighur character. Although facing multicultural fusion impact and influence, the Uighur race still is still using their own language to record history, which has manifested that Uighur race insist and approve her own national culture. During this time, the method recording the history was more scientific, the historical ideology and the historical viewpointss broke through the region limitation, and the field of vision has been widened, which symbolized that the historography was maturing gradually.In the Mongolian Yuan empire time, the Uighur history entered the maturation period. The Uighur scholars contribute indelibly to the Uighur history extension. This article is introducing "Yiduhu the king of Gao Chang Merit Tablet", and "Ukraine Goose Khan's Fable" and the historiograhpy viewpoint, from which we can see that in the Mongolian Yuan empire time the tradition of writing a history formerly was inherited, and in this stage Uighur race has already started to pay attention to themselves, e.g. each kind of myth about this nationality teaching orally was valued by the historian, and appeared in various historical records. Therefore, each political power alternates changed the cultural context, but the Uighur history almost has come down in one continuous line, and has inherited this nationality's culture. From then on, Uighur was nearly assimilated by the Islam, and the culture has dissimilated heavily. But that history tradition continues to affect the later generation actually, the historiograpthy work style and the historian's history viewpoints are all stemming from this.
