The construction of socialist culture with Chinese characteristics is regarded as an indispensable part of the socialist cause, together with economic construction, political construction and socialist construction, it constitutes the integral whole of the socialist cause. The report of the 16th Party's National Congress specified clearly:"In the present-world, culture is interactive with economic and political activities, and its status and functions are becoming more and more outstanding in the competition in overall national strength, the power of culture is deeply rooted in the vitality, creativity and cohesion of a nation. All Party members must fully understand the strategic significance and cultural development and make socialist culture develop and flourish". The cultural construction bears upon the prosperity of socialism and national rejuvenation, today, the cultural construction is not only a significant theoretical research subject, but a pressing research subject with practical significance, thus it needs deep and continual exploration and research.This thesis centers on the core issue of the cultural construction innovation in our countrv since the 16th Party's National Congress.
