The Research Of Contrasting Mongoliananimal Words With Chinese Animal Words

Animal's subsistence and development is closely related with human being's. In the process of knowing, contacting and utilizing animals, every nation created many animal words. These words do not only express the nation's love,hate,fear or worship to the different animals, and also have culture meaning. The paper is based on the Mongolian and Chinese animal words. The object of study is "five domestic animals" that is closely linked with the Mongolian life. The paper discusses the difference semantic meaning and culture about Chinese and Mongolian animal words.The paper has five parts. The first, classify the object of study. The second, from the semantic meaning angle, analyzing the same animal express the different semantic meanings. The third, analyze the different culture meaning of the same animal word. The fourth, analyze the different factors of Mongolian and Chinese animal words'formation and development. The fifth, from the metaphor angle, analyze the formation and development of Mongolian and Chinese animal words.From these five parts, we could know that Mongolian and Chinese animal words do not only have different semantic meanings, and also differ greatly in culture meaning.
