Study On The Modeling Of Chinese Traditional Lamps And Lanterns

With the development of modern society,economic and technology, design culture is also undergoing a new living style. Under the direction of traditional creation philosophy, the design of Chinese traditional lamps and lanterns embodies its own features. To study in-depth about the internal relations of Chinese traditional lamps and lanterns and Chinese traditional culture can give inspiration to design of modeling materials,decoration patterns in modern days. The abundant modeling of Chinese traditional lamps and lanterns forms not only is the social economy,technology and national aesthetic carriers, but also provided a vast space for this research.This paper firstly studies the original and development of Chinese lamps and lanterns, then the paper analysis the Chinese traditional creation philosophy in-depth, and delicately combed all periods of Chinese traditional modelling of lamps and lanterns development track. Secondly, the paper analysis the courtyard-shaped and decoration features of Chinese traditional lamps and lanterns in detail, and especially put the emphasis on plentiful shapes and lively decoration patterns. At last, the paper deems that the design of Chinese traditional lamps and lanterns give the modern days'design of lights and lamps rich foundation, this can give inspiration to the modern days'design of lights and lamps. Base on this statement, the paper displays Chinese modern design of lights and lamps development trend, so this made the study has positive realistic significance.
