Dress Pattern Art Comparative Research Between Li Ethnic Group In Hainan And Gaoshan Ethnic Group In Taiwan

Li and Gaoshan Ethnic Group are island nations,respectively lives on hainan island and Taiwan island in China. Although the descriptions of their costume designs are different,the humanistic feature is the same which is worth study and compare.This thesis mainly focus on the field of investigation,interviewing survey,document analysis and image analysis method to probe the following two categories:(1) the study of dress design art of traditional historical culture,social organization form,regional,national culture and custom characteristic habits of Li Ethnic Group in Hainan and Gaoshan Ethnic Group in Taiwan (in the following papers are referred as the two island minorities).(2)examination and comparison of the two nationalities and costume design arts in grain appearance and organizational form,on colour,subject choice and visual aesthetic aspect,content,form,cultural connotation commonalities and differences.The purpose of this study is to understand the comparison of the dress design art of Li Ethnic Group in Hainan and Gaoshan Ethnic Group in Taiwan,and discuss the factors influence that. In-depth interviews of fieldwork is taken as a complementary,quantitative and qualitative researches are introduced to analyse all aspects of the relevant information collected,in order to do statistical analysis and cultural background interpretation.China is a multi-ethnic country,the Chinese nation is composed by 56 ethnic groups. Each nation has its brilliant long history culture and art tradition. They are rich and colorful,the different style national costumes is the national cultural symbol.Some of our minority clothing is the living fossil of ancient human civilization.Those clothe styles,designs,color and its dressing form,are the accumulation of human material civilization and the spiritual civilization achievements,which reflectes the progress of human society.In Li Ethnic Group on the brocade shawls women,we can find our ancestors to nature extol and primitive totem worship. From those Gaoshan Ethnic Group clothes,we can see the melted many magical color stories and legends.
