Context And Its Application To Contract Case

Context plays an essential role in translation. The systemic functional linguistics combines language functions with language forms and probes into the language systems in its actual context. This theory has been applied to the studies of contract translation as well. The present thesis attempts to associate the contract translation with its actual contexts and analyze various contexts in the text of contract as well as the necessary translation strategies as to study the impact of the context factors in contract translation and deepen the understanding of contract translation.
