Researches On Contradiction From The Point Of Logical Paradoxes

The relationship between the law of contradiction as one of the fundamental laws of formal logic and the law of dialectic contradiction in, and specifying the differences between logical contradiction and dialectical contradiction has become an important academic topic. As our special academic background and theoretical paradigm, these problems have a more special importance in domestic academic circle. Since the rise of domestic Paradox researches in the late 70s, the problem of "contradiction ownership" of logical paradox, has been a problem hotly discussed. Researches has shown that to distinguish logic contradiction and dialectical contradiction correctly is the foundation and prerequisite for grasping the essence of logical paradox. In the meantime, "contradiction" is the central notion of dialectical philosophy, grasping its exact meaning has an important role for further developing the dialectical philosophy.This paper attempts to reveal and problems, that exist on scholars on the grasp of the contradictions and their roots, and further clarify the necessity and importance of distinguishing dialectical contradiction and logical contradiction correctly through the angle of logical paradox. The paper fully absorbs the scientific achievements of modern logic through the analysis and dialectic resolution of the origin of which representative philosophical paradox and specific theoretical paradox, and systematically expounds the differences between logic contradiction and dialectical contradiction, analyses the law of contradiction and law of the unity of opposite, and even the complementary relation between formal logic and dialectics.This article wants to study"contradiction"on the basis of logical paradox, to start discussion from the following three aspects: Firstly, the historical evolution and existing problem around the category of contradiction. In this paper, this part makes the concept of logical contradiction and dialectical contradiction clear, expounds their history. The part also criticizes some misconceptions from domestic and foreign circles, including Popper, Bunge, and Deng Xiao-Mang and others. Secondly, logical paradox as the " tool for logical analysis". This section critically explains the definition and classification of logical paradox. This section discovers the roots cause that formed the logical paradox, and constructs reasonable standards for solving paradox. Finally, analysis on logical contradiction and dialectical contradiction. This section discusses the attribution of logical paradox. This section distinguishes logical contradiction and dialectical contradiction from three directions, some of the scholars'misconception about the relation between the logical contradiction and dialectical contradiction are included. And then this article turns to research about methodology of logical paradox, trying to highlight those values of formal logic and dialectics on scientific methodology.
