In recent years, film industry booming in China, and it is occupying more and more important position of cultural industry in China increasingly . However, on the one hand with the improvement of people's spiritual and cultural needs, on the one hand facing China's accession to WTO, a strong cultural industry usher in competition in overseas markets which is including the introduction of oversea films, capital access, technology and other aspects, the harmonious development of China's film industry gradually becomes a hot spot and focus for movie academic research. This study focuses on an important part of Chinese film ------ female film, , summarized and analyzed its development on different dimensions.The Thesis selected Chinese female movies in nearly nine years as the research object ,and Feminist critical theory, media management theory, marketing theory as the main theoretical basis, and content analysis, inductive method, comparative analysis, case analysis, statistical methods, field research as its major research methods. Firstly, it showed a brief description the purpose of the research background of this paper,and reviewed and summarized the history of studies and research developments of Chinese female movies. Secondly, in-depth analysis was taken on three aspects which are including the development of the theme of women film creation, box office and marketing, personnel training. In the creation of themes, it summarized the characteristics of various types of films,and the lack of female film director, and difficulties of feminist issues expression. In the box office and marketing analysis, it summarized the main trends and status of female movies at the box office and highlight the different types of female movies at the box office features,then got the ecomparative analysis of the marketing success of cases, summing up the crux of the film existing marketing. In personnel training analysis,it mainly included directing talents and resources of actors to talk about, summing up the status problems respectively. Finally, I provided a corresponding improvement strategies and measures,depending on the fundamental analysis of the three dimensions.The most important feature of the paper is not to focus on feminist theory, but focuses on studies of Chinese female movies operation, and to a large amount of data and the newer model supporting the corresponding point of view, thereby providing valueble suggestions.
