Ryunosuke Akutagawa is a famous writer in Taisyou period of Japan, most of his former period works came from historical subject with a theme of using the past to satirize the present. The later period works especially wrote after the visit to China, with his writing style changed, focused more on social reality, such works including "Travels in China", "Mototaro", "General" and so on. Although he called himself "maestro", he emphasized repeatedly himself as a "professional journalist" came to and record China at the beginning of his "Travels in China" .What stands behind the change? As for the changing of Ryunosuke's writing style, in most researchers' opinion, Ryunosuke was influenced by external cause--influence from China. For example: At Fujian Foreign Language seminar in 2003 and academic seminar, Zhanglei published her essay "Ryunosuke and China", it talked about Ryunosuke's writing style which was changed after his Chinese travelling in that he was deeply influenced by Chinese refined scholars and the then environment. In Shanghai Foreign Language University in 2007, Doctor Gaojie's essay "the writer Ryunosuke's Chinese travelling--as the center of text ' Travels in China ' " . She also thought all that he saw and heard in China influenced his writing style. What impressed me most is the large number of his contemporary writers who came to and wrote about China and what is more noticeable is that only Ryunosuke changed his writing style. So in my opinion, he was not only influenced by China, but had a sympathetic response of paying attention to the reality. So he was easily influenced by Chinese refined scholars and combined with social reality, wrote lots of works that were different from ever before."Travels in China" and "Mototaro" which have direct relationship to China are the entry point of this essay, both excavate Ryunosuke's statements about concerning social reality and probe into its social ideologies that hide in these statements and its reason. It is an supplementary point for studying Ryunosuke's idea.
