Study On The Modernistic Literature Characteristics Of Ryunosuke Akutagawa's Writing

Ryunosuke Akutagawa is the outstanding author during Taisho Era in Japan and the essence of "sakura is the top flower, warrior is the top of human"in Japanese culture is expressed by his abundant writing and his legend life. Exquisite intension of writing and practiced skill of text make him to be the preeminence author of Japanese literatus. To praise his outstanding contribution to the Japanese literatus, a literature prize named by Ryunosuke Akutagawa is set in Japan to spirit up the Japanese literatus youth.Reviewing the study on the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa carried out by Chinese scholar, most of the study is based on the qualitative judgment of Ryunosuke Akutagawa by Weiqu Ye in his publication "History of Japanese literatus". For this judgment shows that Ryunosuke Akutagawa is the terminator of Japanese traditional literature, most of the study on the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa focus on the traditionalism; some scholars even consider Ryunosuke Akutagawa as an representational author, which inevitably leads to an extreme Chinese study on the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa Different from the conventional opinion, a new viewpoint of study on Ryunosuke Akutagawa that in the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa exists the property of modernistic literature characteristics is presented in this paper from the study on his work, society background, tight squeeze and deep thoughts.First, a new viewpoint is presented from the collectivity of theoretical system and the modernistic literature characteristics of Ryunosuke Akutagawa is studied by the review of the life of Ryunosuke Akutagawa step by step. The text property of modernistic literature characteristics of Ryunosuke Akutagawa is studied by analysis of the society reason and self-reasons. Compare the property of Japanese modernistic literature with the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, the modernistic literature characteristics are pointed out such as, the differential motivation, pessimistic windy view and modern realistic in ideological content, anti-traditional form, poetic language in artistic characteristics, the refutation of "true", "goodness","beautiful" in significance. The thought of Japanese modernistic literature shows that the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa has the property of Japanese modernistic literature significantly based on the analysis of the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa.Reviewing the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa, although he is an author deeply affected by Japanese traditional culture, the modernistic literature characteristics are reflected significantly in his work. As the words by Lu Xun in "postscript by the translator of Rashaemon" that "the fact in ancient with property of new life will deeply effect on the modern life", such as humanity and survival that always attract people in the modern society always mentioned in the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa. Ryunosuke Akutagawa is a deep-thought and creative author whose work proved the society transformation of Japan in that period.Nowadays, the communication becomes more and more frequently and the different culture has their unique development sense. As the unique nation that translated to capitalism and to be the special culture period of Japan modern period, the development of Japanese modernistic literature needs to be further studied. A new view about the work of Ryunosuke Akutagawa is presented in this paper that is better to take Ryunosuke Akutagawa as the pioneer of Japanese modernistic literature rather than the terminator of Japanese traditional literature. As the development of globalization, because of the beginning of the "modernistic literature characteristic", Ryunosuke Akutagawa who lived in the early modern period will be more and more studied by scholars.
