There have been a rapid development of cultural industries when the South Koreangovernment put forward the "cultural nation" policy Since 1998, especially filmindustry ,which as an important part of it , have made remarkable achievements.China, the world's largest developing country, even after 20 years of reform andopening up, the economy has been changing, however, the pace of the cultural industries isstill slow, especially the development of film industry was stagnant .Although China's filmindustry have a rapid development in nearly two years, but look at the film market in Chinain recent years, the film production, film theater box office and the number of attendanceare maintained rapid growth rate, the surface can be described prospered, but there is fullof shoddy and gimmick-type films everywhere, and there is a lot of foam appeared in thismagnificent feast for film. How to enter a virtuous circle and drive the bubble off ? How tolet our film industry become bigger and stronger ?How to spread out our film abroad tomake an international cross-cultural communication is the most important problem for us tosolve.Looking back the 10 years development of Korean film industry , from the rapiddevelopment in the 90's to today's downturn, as our neighbors, they have a lot of similaritiesin cultural with us and it has much valuable experience for China to learn.This article is divided into four chapters.The Chapters I and II, which introduce Chinaand Korean film industry in a more detailed way respectively, and main discourses the lackof Chinese film industry , the success and experience of the Korean film industry and itscharacteristics. chapter III focuses on analyzing and comparing the status of China filmindustry and Korea film industry and try to seek the thinking development of China'sdomestic film industry based on the similar Art and Culture in Korea . Finally, chapter fourraised constructive comments for the Chinese film industry in five aspect .Finally we arrive at a point of view: Korean film industry has been developing for tenyears ,so today, both its success and failures are worthy learning by Chinese film people , because it is not only can make us avoid detours , when we combined with the developmentprocess of Korean film to think ourselves from the aspect of cultural identity and easilyacceptable ,but also can make the pace of the Chinese film industry go more steady, evenexpand more space and find a new way of thinking.
