Goddess Belief And Art

Nowadays, under the influence of trend of though "the goddess revival ", the Dong Sama Goddess as the precious cultural folk relics is being paid much attention by world. At present, scholars study the Sama Goddess basically in theoretical method of folk belief or artistic style separately. I will study inherently combining the two aspects in this topic.The theoretical point of the study are based on "Art and Ritual Total impulse " of the myth ritual school and theory of"Source of Power" . The ideas and steps of the study are as follows.The first step is describing the origin of goddess worship using Dong Sama Goddess as an example and the original relations between its"prototype" meaning, art and ritual.The second step is analysing the "total impulse "constituted together by original significance of Sama worship and ritual and self-representation of artistic symbol.The third step is analysing how the power source of the artistic style based on "Sama Complex" act on personality traits, aesthetic psychology and cultural direction in a group.The intentions of the study are as follows.One intention is to explore how the folk belife of Sama Goddess possessing symbolic significance of human civilization as the "Source of Power " affect the Dong society and the life existence of its artistic style "like a river in the direction ".The other intention is to provide resources being of "cultural gene" significance and information for the theory claims of going to the goddess and looking for the foundation of female discourse.
