On Yu Wujin's View Of Marxist Philosophy

Yu Wujin,a famous scholar in our country, criticized the traditional way to interpret Marxist philosophy. On this ground, he developed a comprehensive new comprehension about Marxist philosophy, which demonstrated his view about Marxist philosophy. Before the research on Marxist philosophy, his research field was Western philosophy. After few years, he realized that the traditional textbook-style of Marxist philosophy deviated from Marx's thought in some ways,and can not adapt to the development of theory and time anymore. With the slogan and the purpose of "Re-understanding Marx",he began to rebuild the Marxist philosophy. Firstly, he freshed the understanding of basic principles of Marxism. In his view, the source and component of Marxist philosophy should be four, not three. And the positioning of German classical philosophy is not accurate enough. He criticized and reconstructed the traditional Marxist philosophy from ontology, epistemology and methodology. The conclusion is that the Marxist philosophy is the historical materialism. He reinterpreted some basic concepts, such as practice, material, value, time, and freedom, and mainly analysed them from ontology. He used some new methods in his research, such as the method of difference analysis, of problem domain analysis, etc. The new methods provide new perspectives for his study. And he drew a lot of new conclusions, which caused a tremendous echo. Many scholars put forward their own views on his research. They had an argument over his opinion. Some people supported it, and others rejected it. That debate and exploration is helpful to break the traditional and rigid understanding of Marxist philosophy, reaching the Marx's thought.
