A Study On Symphony Creativity Of RIMSKy-KORSZKOV

Rimsky.Korsakov(1844-1908)is one of the most improtant composer of Russia National school in nineteenth century.He ,Balakirev, Cui, Mussorgsky and Alexander Borodinformed a music groups——"strong group",which made a indelible contribution to the development of the Russian music. In this music group ,Rimsky.Korsakov was the youngest but the most prolific composer.Because of his strong national feeling and oriental fantasy style, he was one of the people who preserved the development of Russian music, and who was called the master of the national school after the "the father of mucic" Glinka(Glinka,1804—1857).The age in which Rimsky.Korsakov lived was the revolutionary period of Russian history, at that time ,Tsarist government exploited the people brutally, so some far-sighted personage of Russian bagan to worry about the future of their nation. Under the influence of ideas of capitalism in Western Europe, some revolutionists with advanced democratic ideas Launched several uprisings against the Tsarist autocracy. These uprisings aroused the resurgence of Russia in all fields , among which the literature and the art was also influenced profoundly, with the themes of Russian national school, they created a lot of works to reflect the aspirations of the subaltern , which attacked mercilessly the cruel rule of the authorities .Rimsky.Korsakov was also influenced greatly by the democratic ideas of that time, because he used extensively the Russian folk musical material in his works , and in which he praised the great people but satired the dark rule of the tsarist government. His works mainly based on opera and symphony, although the number of his symphonies was small and which could not be compared to his achievement in opera field, as far as the artistic quality concerned ,his each works was boutique. In Russia even in the whole world's musical fields, his symphony orchestra was an important works that can not be replaced. His symphonies taken from the subjects of history, literature, folklore and nature, and his music based mostly on Russian folk music ,which had a distinctive Russian national features.His symphonies played an important role to the latter development of Russian symphony, his students ,such as Maria Dov, Stravinsky Sergey Prokofiev,worked on the brilliance of the Russian music.The Symphony of Rimsky.Korsakov had a very unique personal style and features of Russian folk music. Symphonic composition mainly divided into two periods , this article selected his first period <> and his second period << Scheherazade >> as example, these two works represented almost the important features of his syphonic composition. In the view of the creative techniques, the use of "dominant theme", harmony of Unique color, colorful orchestration, flexible musical structure , all of which had a unique characteristic of Rimsky.Korsakov .From the point of view of the aesthetic features, the title, nationality, people, oriental colors and praise of nature in his music reflected his Aesthetic principles.
