| As a pivotal Russian composer,conductor,music educator in the second half of the 19 th century,Rimsky-Korsakov is the youngest and most prolific musician of the national music group "the Mighty Handful".His musical style and concepts are inherited from the essence of some musicians like Glinka centered on national music,and they are also closely related to his own love of Russian national culture and art.Rimsky-Korsakov's musical writing style has an inseparable relationship with his aesthetic thoughts,creative ideas,as well as the background at that time.His romance are not only filled with the portrayal of mountains,rivers,bays,spring,grass and other Russian natural sceneries,but also express his deeply sincere feelings to Russian nations.These romance show us his observational competence of various things and his colorful life experiences,as well as his persistent pursuit of music and the extraordinary artistic talent.These qualities supply his works with great artistic charm and distinct vitality.This thesis is divided into three parts:The first part primarily introduces the basic situations and overall characteristics of Russian romance,which is based on the basic concepts,the historical background and their development situations these perspectives.Then,on the basis of the historical and cultural background from the second half of the 19 th century to the beginning of the 20 th century,this paper states Rimsky-Korsakov's music life and the overall situations of his romance.By analyzing the creative features of Rimsky-Korsakov's romance from the music structure,piano fabric,melody and harmony of different compositions in different periods,the second part firstly finds that the piano and vocals are mixed with each other in these songs,and so do lyrical and fantasy,national character and skill,music and poem respectively.Furthermore from the perspective of aesthetics,the rest part explores the aesthetic significance of writer's works,including the beauty of the sound color,the poetic painting and the Russian nation.The third part discusses the current value and practical significance of Rimsky Korsakov's works in vocal music teaching of comprehensive university from three aspects.First of all,the composer's romance have teaching values in developing students' aesthetic abilities,vocal skills,music accomplishments,styles and so on.Then,by analyzing several romance,including Not the Wind,Blowing from the Heights,Of What I Dream in the Quiet Night,The Nymph,The Clouds Begin to Scatter,this part explores the practical significance of Rimsky-Korsakov's works from the aspects of the singing way of different singers and teaching points and so on.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures are put forward for the differences of language,cultural differences,teaching materials and stage practice. |
