The combination of tape playing with the performance of symphony orchestra is a new showing technique in the western music of the twentieth century. This technique was first introduced into Chinese music by Mr. Zhu Jia.n-er in his Symphony No. 6 ? Y?in 1994 and Symphony No. 10 揝nowbound River?in 1998, which have taken important position in China contemporary musical creation. This paper is to make a comparison between his two master pieces mentioned above and dig up new meanings and achieve a better understanding of their materials, structures, forms, implications and styles.The main body of the paper includes the comparison and analysis of the materials used in his symphonies, structures and forms, implications and styles. An introduction is given at the beginning and a summary in the end.
