Zhu Jian’er is a famous Chinese contemporary composer, who began writing songs since the 1940 s and then created a lot of well-known works after China was founded, such as "A folk song to the party" and so on. In early 1980 s, Zhu Jian’er turned to symphony creation. During this time, he created a large number of high-quality symphonic music, which account for a large proportion of his works, because in just fifteen years, he completed a total of eleven symphonies and other orchestral works in different themes, which is unprecedented in the fields of music in China.This article will focus on his "Tenth Symphony" and "Ninth Symphony" for a further profound study and analysis, try to show the emotion his music portrayed with words, so that people can appreciate the unique ethnic charm of the Twelve-tone sequence combined with channel mode in the music.All in all, Zhu Jian’er’s symphonic music has a certain influence both nationally and internationally, and some of his writings have made the development of Chinese symphonic music a major step.
