Study of Bingxin is one of the important topics in Chinese art and literary circles, because Bingxin plays a vital role in modern and contemporary history of Chinese literature, no matter wherever we refer to poems, proses, novels or translations.This paper consists of introduction, text and conclusion. The introduction is to summarize the outstanding achievements and unique style of Bingxin's literary works, review people's various understandings and comments on the "Philosophy of love" in those works, as well as how the divergences affect the problem of how to make an objective appraise for Bingxin's literary works.The text, which is the main body of the whole paper, is made up of four parts. Part one, early phase(1919~1930), the establishment and limitation of "Philosophy of love". Part two, medium-term(1931~1951), "Philosophy of love", from confusion to expansion. Part three, later period(1952~1976), the renaissance of "Philosophy of love". Part four, advanced stage(1977~1999), the expansion and distillation of "Philosophy of love". All the four parts contribute to illustrate the graduate and rotating development, improvement and perfection of "Philosophy of love", reveal Bingxin's unremitting pursuit of love and beauty in her eighty years of literary creation.The conclusion is to give a comprehensive and scientific comment on Bingxin's "Philosophy of love", identify Bingxin's status in the new literary history and point out that Bingxin's literary heritage not only belongs to the history but also belongs to the future. The auther also predict the future of study in the aspect.
