Bingxin’s literatures are mainly about the love of mother, the love of childhood, the love of nature, and the love of nation. Around the5.4movement it is not acoincidence that Bingxin’s ‘philosophy of love’ made a big influence on society. Herliterature reflected the society at that time and expressed her will to lead the society.Bingxin was a writer that tried to recover the human rights of woman andchildren by emphasizing the disappointment and antagonism of the dark side of reality.Bingxin’s literature covered various genres in novels, poetry, prose and childrenliterature but the best was in children’s literature. It is common in China’s literary world to have many adult writers to write aboutchildren’s literature. It was caused by the period of time when the’ discovery ofchildren’ in China started with the5.4movement by adult writers that started to createchildren’s literature after realizing the needs of children literature that respect thechild’s independent character. In China’s history of literature where theory ofchildren’s literature comes first then writing, their appearance was inevitable and itwas a preparation to make children literature that is truly children centered.Bingxin’s effort to write in the child point of view instead of the adult point ofview can be objectively considered half successful. Although Bingxin’s intention wasto viewpoint the child centered point of view but in the actual work overall it wasshowing the adult emotion of the lost childhood. Especially her representing childrenprose “To young readers” made a big influence in many ways but she was not able tocontinue to talk with the young readers. Bingxin thought that her purpose tointerchange with young readers has failed.. The reason of failure can be found in thedifference between Bingxin’s “young readers” and real “young readers”. Althoughthere was a difference in Bingxin’s young reader and the real young readers,Bingxin’s children’s literature was insufficient to bring children centered childhood tothe young readers and wrote the adults emotion towards childhood, her effort to helpthe children understand that unknown world with her love is one of the biggestsuccess in China’s modern children’s literature. In China, research on Bingxin’s literature is quite active. After she appears onthe literary world she caught interest of the critics and many scholars continue topresent and research her literature. After political reasons these research fad away but after China’s Communist11th meeting new research on Bingxin has started. After1980, research on Bingxin’s children’s literature grew and many thesis statementswere made. On the other hand, in Korea, there is not much research on Bingxin’sliterature, only a few thesis statement and translated short novels is all. Especially, inKorea, Bingxin’s status as a children literature writer is not familiar there are notmany research on her children prose or children’s point of view in novels. Only a fewthesis on analyzing work on feminist point of view. Therefore, I hope this research will be the starting point to understand China’schildren literature and as an international student researching China’s children’sliterature I hope through Bingxin’s children’s literature it will help understand China’smodern children’s literature. This thesis is based on clearly understanding the work itself and to research onBingxin’s philosophy of life and her world of thinking to find Bingxin’s meaning onChina literature. The thesis is written into3chapters and the first chapter is about the modernview of ‘discovering children’ in creating children’s literature and the creation ofChina’s modern children’s literature and the relation of China’s modern children’sliterature and Bingxin. The second chapter is about Christianity that effected Bingxin’s literature worldand how that is expressed in Bingxin’s children’s literature area.On the third chapter, we will look into the relationship of Bingxin’s children’sliterature and the reader with Bingxin’s representing children’s literature work calledthe ‘To young readers’ to find the value of the work. The purpose of this research is to increase the understanding of China’s modernchildren’s literature through Bingxin’s research; Bingxin’s children’s literature in thisthesis is limited to her early works. Therefore, works that are written after theliberation such as “Taoqi diary during the summer”(《陶奇的暑期日记》) has beenexcluded from the research.
