Nationalization Of Chinese Oil Paintings

Based on a research into the nationalization of Chinese oil paintings, which Chinese oil painters have been discussing from the 1920s up to now, and in the light of my own creative experience,this thesis paper mainly approaches the necessity to nationalize Chinese oil paintings, the national aesthetic consciousness of Chinese oil paint ings, their subject matter,artistic from and suchlike, with a conclusion that to nat ionalize Chinese oi 1 paintings, more attempts should be made at interweaving the fine points of Western art with traditional Chinese oil paintings so as to from a national style with distinctive feastures of Chinese oil; paintings that can blend national spirit and national qualities with works of art in a natural way.
