Lexical Relations And Its Application In Vocabulary Learning

From linguist point of view, this thesis chiefly discusses the complex sense relations between English vocabulary, and explores its possible semantic network. It proceeds to provide rich sources of psychological theoretical foundations to illustrate that lexical semantic associations are of great importance in the learning memory of English vocabulary.This paper is hopeful of having some practical value, and being able to help students learn English words and enlarge their vocabulary efficiently. For this purpose a part of College English new words have been sorted out to establish a moderate network of their association words which can be shown on computer screen.
