"wind" is one of the earliest appeared imagery in the Chinese ancient poem ,and it is the most plentiful poem imagery in all of them .Wind has no form and no shadow ,but it got consistent gladness of every dynasty's poet .There is i< saturate aesthetic reason behind this strange phenomenon. The formation of the wind imagery's liberality, the different of profound national sentiment that accumulated in different wind imagery and the different aesthetic feeling they brought about are the subject which will be talked about in this thesis. The whole thesis is made up of four sections.The first section elementarily analyzed the history source, the aesthetic attribute of the wind imagery . In primaeval agriculture society, the dependence of the people on wind and the concept that wind is apotheosis and divine made the wind imagery went into the ancient poem early. But its flying progress after that relied on its own substantial aesthetic attribute. On the whole, there is an extensive relationship between wind and people's feeling, that they all no shape but change quickly and have substantial types. Wind can bring about the people's feeling, this particular function and special technique in expressing feeling make it become the most popular poem imagery.The second section analyzed the wind imagery of the poems before the Wei Dynasty in detail. Poems before Qin Dynasty are represented by the (Poem Scripture )) and Qu yuan's poems . They are respectively the great source of Realistic and Romantic poem. The former affixtured the real life tightly, its rustic, massive motion, and the romantic, isolated, impressive wind imagery in Qu yuan's poem deeply affected the same kinds of wind imagery of the later poem . The sad and bitter emotion of the wind imagery in both of them converted into the deep national collective unawareness emotion in the livelong period, and sadness also became the main emotion of wind imagery in ancient poems . Poem in Han Dynasty went through a sluggish progress .In their wind imagery, there was not only the succession of the old wind imagery ,but also many active new creations . The sad windimagery of the ^Nineteen Ancient Poems)) in later Han Dynasty directly affected the sad wind imagery in Wei Jin Dynasty's poems.The third section analyzed the wind imagery in the Wei Dynasty's poems from three respects: the whole feature , the period characteristics and the new wind imagery . The suffering real life in Han Dynasty made Wei Dynasty's poets full of sadness .This made them push the dense sadness of the old wind imagery to the acme . Another contribution of them is that they i.iake the deep feelings and the natural things melt together organically, this is a new confine .The wind imagery in Ji Kang's poems had already created the new type of wind imagery , So the wind imagery of the Wei Dynasty's poems also have important transitional meaning .The fourth section analyzed the wind imagery of Jin % Liu song Dynasty and Qu Liang ?Chen Dynasty . From Xi Jin Dynasty ,poets came to eschew the real politics and people's life . Their conversion of attitude and view led to the new change of poem image .But the wind imagery in Xi Jin Dynasty's poems still had the influence of the Han and Wei Dynasty's sad wind imagery . After the Dong Jin Dynasty , views changed from time to time , new wind imagery of the poems was coming in every dynasty . These wind imageries had new shapes and different relaxed feelings. And all have no relation-ship with the real politics , but just concentrated on the feelings relaxation and fruition of mettle. They appeared in large numbers and it is the deviation and replenishment to the traditional sad mind imagery in the feeling and shape .These new "wind "greatly enriched the ancient poem's wind imagery , and had its important value .The number of wind imagery in the North Dynasty's poems was not very much , but had its own naivete style. They and the agelong sad wind imagery form Xi Jin Dynasty standed for the traditional aspects of wind imagery in this peri...
