The Study Of Max And Engels's World History Thought

This paper illustrates the scientific connotation of the world history forming from the logic point of start, main idea, developing motive force, functioning subject, basic trend and value target, and believes that the logic point of start of the world history forming is the developing of productive forces, association and division of labor to a specific historic level, that is, it wasn't produced until the contradiction motion caused the occurring of capitalist mode of production. The road of world history forming is the internal expansion of capitalist relation of production, and its mark is the forming of the world market. From the viewpoint of developing process and trend of the world history, it has two stages: that is, the world history of capitalism and the world history of communism. The former developing to the latter will be the necessary trend. It is seeking human being's overall and free development and it is realistic individual liberation from the viewpoint of the world history's value target. The degree of individual liberation is identical with the degree of history transmitting into world history, on the base of this point, the paper analyses the essential distinction and similarity between Max and Engels's world history thought and contemporary western globalization theory, and believes Max and Engels's world history thought is identical with western globalization theory in thinking mode because both believe the linear historic viewpoint and apply linear analysis mode; and both have the same objective base, that is, both are on the base of industrial civilization and the derivative form of industrial civilization -information civilization. However, there is essential distinction between them. The main points are the difference of theoretical essence, the difference of proof objective, value trend, logical stage and operation subject. The work! history thought is historical materialism, while western globalization theory is the modem form of historical idealism; the world history thought wants to proof the reasonability of capitalism and illustrate the liberation of human beings; while the globalization theory wants to proof the reasonability and advantage of capitalism, so the two theories are opposite to each other. The world history thoughtincares about the liberation and the fate of working class; while the globalization theory cares about the fate of capitalism. And the world history though points out the realizing road of human being's liberation-the realistic motion of communism; however, the globalization theory debates for the globe expansion of capitalism and safeguard the basic interests of bourgeois in order to help monopolistic bourgeois obtain maximal degree of monopolistic profits. At last, this paper argues that the world history thought has three stages: that is, pre-capitalism society, capitalism society and communism society. But the globalization theory has only two logic stages: that is, pre-capitalism society and capitalism society. On the base of analyzing the linking and difference of both sides, this paper clarifies the misunderstanding of the theory circles to Max and Engels's world history theory. This paper points out further the historic limitation and contemporary significance of Max and Engels's world history thought, illustrates how we can grasp the essence and objective trend of globalization development, how we should choose the right countermeasures and so as to develop socialism at the greatest degree, propel communism motion forward and create strong material base for promoting and realizing communistic world history.
