| The paper is designed to discuss from the perspective of artistic psychology the causal relationship between the style of artistic work and the life experience of an artist , to interpret the metaphorical influence of line as one kind of oil painting language on oil painting as such , and try to see whether it' s possible for the line drawn out of the oriental art of calligraphy to be dissolved organically in the western oil painting art.
