The Study Of Personal Pronouns In Guanhua Dialects

Though the number of the personal pronouns is limit in Chinese vocabulary, they are used widely in spoken language, and their dialectic feature is distinctive. Meanwhile personal pronouns belong to stable basic vocabularies, and retain the pronunciation of the prior times easily. GuanHua dialect is the biggest one in modern Chinese dialects, which clear regions are the most wide. Now we study the personal pronouns in GuanHua dialect, compare their difference, and explore their evolution. It is very meaningful to observe the gradation and feature of the vocabulary development. Despite the difference in GuanHua dialect is not outstanding, it has its own characteristic. The thesis makes a systematic study of the personal pronouns in GuanHua dialect according to the history of their development and evolution. The thesis consists of four parts.Part One: IntroductionThis part we delimit the range of region in GuanHua dialect, which is mainly decided according to the range of distribution in < The Collection Of Basic Vocabulary In Basic Dialects Of Common Language>, which is divided into five districts of dialect: north region of dialect, northwest region of dialect, southwest region of dialect, Jin region of dialect and JiangHuai region of dialect. The thesis selects 93 regions among them and makes the comparative study on the pronunciation and vocabulary of the personal pronoun carefully and thoroughly.Part Two: The evolution history of the personal pronounsEvery personal pronoun has its own history of development and evolution. This part discusses respectively every type of personal pronouns. The origin of the first personal pronoun is, which is used most widely; is occurred in the literatures of Song dynasty , mainly used in the North region of dialect, and is basically consistent with in GuanHua dialects now, which there are no in the South region of dialect.in ancient times wrote to be in the middle ancient times . After Yuan and Ming dynasty. nearly became the only form of the second personal pronoun. After Song dynasty , became the basic form of the third personal pronoun .Part Three: The character of the personal pronoun in GuanHua dialectsThis part we will compare 11 personal pronouns in GuanHua dialects, which consists ofFirstly we analyze their difference and induce their type, then sum up the character in GuanHua dialects. In pronunciation, the pronunciation of the first personal pronouns is complex in GuanHua dialects. In some dialects,retained the phonetic character in ancient times ,the middle ancient times or modern times. The initial became while the vowel became higher gradually. In vocabulary, there has a little vocabulary difference in the first, second and third personal pronouns. In grammar, comparing with the southeast dialects, there is the real plural suffix in GuanHua dialects.Part Four: ConclusionOn the basis of part two and three, we draw the conclusions.Firstly, from ancient times to the present, the number of the personal pronouns tends to reduce and to be fixed. have already become the common development forms.Secondly, comparing with the southeast dialects, the forms of personal pronoun in GuanHua dialects are comparatively consistent, while the phonetic difference is more outstanding, especially the first personal pronounThirdly, from the angle of the district, the phonetic difference of GuanHua dialects main'y focus on the district of Jin dialect and the district of southwest dialect, while the district of north dialect is nearly consistent with the common language.
