Investigating Research On Internet Psychology Of University Students In Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region

After the general summary of the investigating research on college students, we have found that the research are mostly theoretical and lack of the experimental research. Therefore, it is very urgent for the psychological researchers to do much more experimental works which are the strong support for the theoretical research.The study, using the questionnaire of internet psychology for college students which is compiled by the researcher herself, is mainly about the general circumstances, attitude, Internet self awareness and Internet interpersonal relations of 955 college students who have experience of using Internet in Inner Mongolia Autonomous region. The following conclusions have been drawn from present study after statistics: (1) The interrelation between the college students and Internet appears good developing trend; (2) Internet bars are playing important roles in the college students' on-line life; (3) The main intention of the college students' using Internet is to make friends on line; (4) The college students hold both positive and passive attitude towards Internet; (5) The college students hold positive attitude towards the developmental prospect of Internet; (6) physical weakness is the main characteristics of the college students' self-awareness on-line; (7) Using Internet has solved the conflicts and contradictions of the college students self awareness in some way; (8) The college students are likely to do the deeper self-disclosure on-line; (9) There are differences of the college students' self-awareness among two races and sex and four grades; (10) The college students' self-awareness appears the characteristics of paying more attention to the emotional communication; (11) The college students hold cold andreasonable attitude on Internet love;(12) The college students' interrelation course exists differences among two races and sex and four grades.The reasons for the results are various. There are factors of the mental and physical characteristics of the university students themselves, the characteristics of Internet itself and influence of social environment. The researcher gives following suggestions on the investigating results: Firstly, strengthen the information quality of the educators in universities; Secondly, strengthen the construction of the college net ;Thirdly, to give periodical lessons on internet; Fourthly, to raise identification on traditional culture of the university students; Fifthly, to build Internet psychological counseling rooms; Sixthly, to cultivate healthy self-awareness and interrelations of the students by using internet. In a word, universities, Internet businessmen and psychologists should build efficient, complete managemental and supervisory system to pay attention to the internet mental health of the university students and to cultivate the high information quality talents for society.
