The addressing pronouns in this thesis not only include the first personal, the second personal pronouns but also the nouns expressing modesty and expressing respecting.The first personal pronouns such as "Wu(吾)", "Wo (我) ", "Yu (余) ", "Yu (予), "Zhen (朕) ", "Ru(女) ", "Er(尔) ", "Er(而) ", "Ruo(若) ", "Nai(乃) ", and the third personal pronouns such "Zhi (之) ", "Qi(其) ", "Bi(彼) ", "Jue(厥) "in are observed one by one, their meaning and function are analyzed carefully, and then the author compares them with the personal pronouns in by referring to the personal pronouns in by grammarian He Leshi.In addition, some nouns expressing modesty and respecting such as "Guaren (寡人)", "Bugu(不谷) ", "Chen(臣) ", "Jun (君) ", "Zi(子) " are also observes and discussed carefully.Based on the study, we can see that although the meaning and function of the personal pronouns in and are similar, yet there are some slight differences between them to which we must pay much attention. For example, it is similar the second personal pronouns seldom appear because of the mature of the nouns expressing respecting in and . Although the function of the personal pronouns in and is similar, yet there is not "Ruo (若) " in . Although the personal pronouns function of expressing singular and plural in and is similar, yet the word "Wucha(吾侪)" in can't express plural. Although the addressing meaning of the personal pronouns in and is similar, yet the words "Bi (彼) " (Don't include the quoted) in can not only express human but also thing. Although the semantic meaning of the personal pronouns in and is similar, yet the level of demoting of "Ru ( 女) " in is evolving to the requirements of language development, but at the same time some personal pronouns with dialectal style , "Bugu(不谷) " can't neglected.
