The Scholar-official Families And New Regime Of The Wei-Jin Dynasties

The Scholar-official Families was a special social phenomenon in China' s medieval ancient history. It came to exist in the age of the west and east Han dynasties and became mature in Wei-jin periods, went to its prime in the East Jin dynasties.This paper is to discuss the relationship between the new regime of Wei-Jin and the Scholar-official Families,to center as the 13 official positions in the regime. Hereinwith, this paper tries to analylize those social idenity, original places, family status of those officials and also their official durations.One of main purposes of this paper is to know the real role of the Scholar-official Families in the new Wei-Jin regime.From the above analyses,we can conclude that the Scholar-official Families took the new regime as a effective tool to protect their own interests.
