From Discourse Rhetoric To Cognition Rhetoric

According to "Three dimensions" theory with regard to rhetoric function in Broad Sense Rhetoric, this paper studies the rhetoric character of Fangfang's novel from the points of discourse construction, text construction and subject's spiritual construction. On the dimension of discourse construction, the language style and rhetoric character in Fangfang's novel had a comparatively great change in 1986 or so, but the practical language and the literary language had enriched the novel's language together. On the dimension of text construction three behavior modes, which are the subject's survival methods pointed to by the narrative, are summarized from the narrative skill joined with the writer's perspective of life, namely seeking, hesitating and playing. On the dimension of the subject's spiritual construction the paper analyzes that the rhetoric character of language exerts a huge influence on the subject's cognition world proceeding with rhetoric fantasy and rhetoric cognition and relating with concrete text. Through the research above this paper achieves the promotion from skill to art, combining the rhetoric with the character of language, the character of text, the people's survival method in novel, the subject's spiritual construction and the special concern about life.
