Yutang Lin was always accredited by himself with "two feet cover both east and west cultures, One heart tastes the world's articles". Actually, it is the culture attitude of Mr. Li n, an assortment of both east and west cultures. The way that Mr. Lin process his culture choice and culture recombination is a modern way. Mr. Lin explored the culture resources of modernity from the origins of both east and west cultures and then modernized them.This essay will explore Mr. Lin's culture attitude from three levels and try to localize it in modern way.First, on the life level, Mr. Lin had a leisure culture attitude with perfect taste which advocated a poetic life of wisers. Wisers who hold enthusiasm to the world take the mediocre everyday life as a standard and on this basis seek the poetic living. Such philosophy poetically improves the advocated leisure and then create a leisurely poetic life patten.Second, on the society and politics level, Mr. Lin insisted a free-individualism culture view. In the real life, such view mainly embodied the recognization of the identity of modern literati intellectual, which, as a non-politics attitude, should be away from the social politics.Third, on the art field level, Mr. Lin held an anti-science culture view, which is against the regulatory of science logos in the art field. The modern value of such view is that Mr. Lin questioned the west personality and such question touched the modern problem which modern scientific sence encountered in the construction of Modern knowledge.
