Taking the female poets in the first decade after the May 4th as object, this paper will try to make a thorough study of their poetic writing conditions to make up the attention insufficiency of the academe to those female poets in new poetic history in present researches. This paper has six parts all together: Preface; Chapter One: On Writing Backgrounds; Chapter Two: On Writing Subjects; Chapter Three: Female Outlook; Chapter Four: On Artistic Methods; Conclusion.In detailed study, this paper will base on extractive reading and classifying a large amount of poetic texts to review the creation of female poets in this period: their writing subjects come down to various aspects of social life, which shows that they have walked out their boudoirs in this revolution and held a wider world; they have primary female consciousness, so their poets display everywhere their pursuit for independence and equality; they also seek for artistic invention and change, and have made a new breakthrough in language, style, etc.Finally, this paper draws a conclusion that the female poets in the first decade after the May 4th shouldered and finished a leap of far-reaching significance. As an important part of female liberation practice, their poetic production will become a perspective of historical progress.
