Research On Competence Character Of Stockbrokers

Till now, little time is spent on some specific researches conducted by domestic psychologists on the stock section, and few research findings of the competence character of stockbrokers are found. To break the barrier, this research exerts the dimensions of competence character of stockbrokers by a self-edited questionnaire, which is fairlyreliable and valid. Data analysis figures out that:1. The competence character of domestic stockbrokers consists of 7 dimensions: cognition characters, task characters, motive characters, knowledge characters, self-control, enterprise and carefulness.2. As to the valuation on the importance of the 7 dimensions, no significant differences are perceived among stockbrokers who have different short-term profitability, by contrast significant differences are perceived among stockbrokers, who have different long-term profitability.3. To the valuation on the importance of the 7 dimensions, different-aged stockbrokers have consistent opinion, and significant differences are perceived on the levels of different sexuality, education background, career term, job type and capital amount.
